Franca and I went to Westside Reservoir Park yesterday (January 13, 2022) to affirm the location of a “grappe” of snails in the Amber Snail family, (Succinea campestris) Say, 1817, on a trail stanchion we had seen earlier in the week. In the afternoon we went to Constitution Lake in Southwest Atlanta to see an American White Pelican, (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos,) that seems out of range, a bit, but happy to wander around that complex.
