Reassuring, the Re-emergence of Green

Been a while. We’ve been kayaking, hiking and a little bicycling, mostly for exercise. I do see the continuing effort to be out in the wild good for my knees.
Franca, Jay and I went to Lake Charlotte on May 23rd. Nice walk. Saw and heard a bunch of birds, Scarlet Tanger, Summer Tanager, Woodpeckers… saw a deer. But the overall impression of the walk was… green. There is a good understory and more open areas of meadow-like mixtures, grasses, other plants.
