The Whole Shebang

Shebang, now there’s a word. What this is about is an upcoming trip to Arabia Mountain (the Davidson - Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve). We’re going there on Wednesday next and I’m doing research. (Trip postponed… rain. I’m sure the Diamorpha and Erythronium don’t mind but we’re fragile.)
We could see Diamorpha smallii, the Elf Orpine, Trout lilies Erythronium americium, who knows?

Arabia Mountain is not totally unique but special for its wildlife nonetheless.
Arabia Mountain, a part of Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area, is the northern of two peaks in the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, in DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. A low saddle separates it from Bradley Mountain, several hundred feet to its south. The two form a monadnock. The peak is 955 feet (290 m) above sea level.
The Interim… Tick, tock.
