Walking Charlotte
Charles Allen Haynes
March 7, 2022
The group walked Lake Charlotte this last Sunday. We parked farther south on Forrest Park Road and walked in. Jay and I trekked to the top at 1015 feet overlooking I-285. We could see both east and west boundaries from there. It’s very rocky but not stratified, bit strange.
We saw gnawed deer antlers and box turtle shells, some wildflowers, lots of fungi and lichens. The gallery is the walk. Identification comes later.
